Our MD Fran Hunter says he misses the more hands on engineering approach and has been heard to say, "these days I just get to buy the toys, everyone else gets to play with them!'.A highly experienced sound engineer and technical engineer in his own right. Fran has worked on sound for some of the worlds best known artists in live events, at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena and the Millennium Dome, to name just a few. He has also been technical manager for major London recording studios and live event companies. As well as running the business side of things, Fran works on project management for our companies production and installation department and also heads up sales. He's a sucker for punishment!
Louis is our newest member of the team. He impressed whilst carrying out some paid work experience and our MD had no hesitation in taking Louis on. As Fran says, 'We can teach pretty much anyone the technical stuff but we can't teach them graft. They have to bring that to the table'. Louis is certainly showing no fear of hard work and commitment to learning and developing his ever growing skill sets. A quick learner he also appreciates the value of listening to the advice given by more experienced members of the team. All of the team at HunterAV appreciate his sense of teamwork. He doesn't wait to be asked, he jumps straight in if he sees someone could do with a hand. We look forward to helping Louis in developing a long career in our industry.
Ethan has become a highly valued member of our team. Credited as being Fran's 'right hand man', Ethan is involved in all aspects of show set up and delivery. He is also a talented repair technician and on top of all these attributes he is learning all the business aspects of our company and makes valuable contributions to the business development side, as we continue to move forward. Another multi instrument musician. Ethan is also a keen climber at the local climbing wall, so he is used to scaling the heights. As Fran said, 'Ethan has the talent and arguably more importantly, the work ethic. He has a very bright future with us and we look forward to developing his skills sets and experience further'. The sky really is the limit for Ethan.
